UPDATE ON FOOTPATH CLOSURE - SIBSEY STREET/CARR HOUSE LANE

Please see further correspondence from the Public Rights of Way Team.

I have been in touch with the contractor, J Murphy and Sons Limited, and requested that they provide a temporary diversion while the works are in progress.  They have assured me that they will only close half the width of the route, enabling walkers and cyclists to pass through safely.  Although the Notices state that the commencement date is 10 January 2009, I have been informed by the contractor that, due to a technical hitch, works on site have not yet started.

ATTITUDE SURVEY

Yes it's that time of year again.  As part of our ongoing monitoring programme we need to find out more about people's attitudes to cycling.  Our attitude questionnaire is relatively short and should only take 5 minutes or less to complete. Click here to open questionnaire.
